Chinese Cultural University Alumni Association of New York has successfully gathering more then 300 members and family, friends to celebrate the year end holiday season with 60 KTV singing and dancing programs at Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel, Flushing, New York. The party has filled with holiday spirits by gathering members family and friends. The entertainment program combined with singing and dancing by all amateur performers and organized by the Vice Chairman, Ben Yu Chen and his wife and many other groups. P&M Music Company provided the music with kareoke songs. In between the performances, disco dance has invited all participants to join together.
President of NYJPW, Cheng-Hua Wang is one of the Alumni members and volunteer providing an outstanding Chinese Opera performance lead by professional artists from Beijing Opera Theatre at Beijing, Yang Hong Wu and Li Ming. These two artists have arrived in the United States 4 months ago to join NYJPW yearly big production at Lincoln Center,
"The Orphan of Zhao" on September 19, 2003. Since year 2004 is the year of Monkey in Chinese lunar calendar, Yang Hong Wu has performed "Monkey King" as a monkey to lead the prosperity of the upcoming year. Li Ming has dressed up and singing "Gan Lou Temple" to celebrate these special event and congratulate to Ambassador Hsia Li Yen on his birthday. Ambassador Hsia mentioned in the party that he will change all his entire ATM card password since everyone knows his birthday and it could be used for pass code. NYJPW's Chinese Opera Performance brought the enlightenment to the party and all the singing and dancing programs have presented the audience a wonderful evening.
The last part of the celebration is Ruffle prizes picking for 120 prizes that have been contributed by all the supportive organizations, friends and members. The party has completed with a remarkable happiness and all the participates and members and friends left with a big smile on their face to welcome the New Year.
