Zhang Da Qien and His Influence in Modern Chinese Painting
Master Zhang Da Qien is one of the artists who leads the modern Chinese painting in many different forms with elegance and dramatic ink and colors. He has stayed in Duan Huang Cave to copy all the beautiful ladies that painted on the stone as "cave painting" inherited from Tang dynasty. Be using the same techniques, Master Zhang developed his own style as "Pou Mou" combined traditional ink and colorful oil painting to create his own style. He is one of the national treasures in Chinese modern history. Master Zhang has taught many students and his painting collection as of today is one of the national treasures collected in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan.
