Qi Su Feng and Her Peking Opera - Monkey King and Flaming Phonix

Qi Su Feng Peking Opera Group was founded by Qi Su Feng and her husband Ding Mei Quie in 1984. This group is one of the most famous Peking opera groups in the United States.
Every year they have giving more then hundreds performance over the States. Their specialty is Chinese Kung Fu. Ding Mei Quie has edited and directed the opera story with new methods to combine the acrobatic movement with the traditional singing to make the beauty of the performance. This group is the first group to perform at Broadway, New York City. NYJPW Chinese Opera director, Zhang Shu, has performed at New Victory Theater with Qi Su Feng's group, at Broadway, January 23, 2003. This is the first presentation of Chinese Opera at Broadway since Master Mei Lan Feng has visited the U.S. 70 years ago. NYJPW admired Qi Shu Feng Peking Opera Group's spirit and congratulates thier accomplishment in Chinese Opera history at the United States.
