NYJPW is one of the most famous Chinese and American Arts & Culture Organization in New York City. In order to be more specifically promoting talented artistic work, i.e. Photography, Calligraphy, Painting, Opera, etc., NYJPW has opened an Arts and Cultural Gallery in New Jersey. The organization owners, John & Cheng-Hua Wang, have contributed many treasury art works to the Gallery, i.e. Zhang Da Chien's Plum flower, Chi Bai Shih's Chickens, Huang Jun Bi/Lan Yin Ding/Hu Nien Tsu's paintings, Shih Tse Chien's Grass Calligraphy, etc. The most seldom seeing calligraphy was written by Zhang Li Jie, the words carved on turtle's shell. John & Cheng-Hua decorated the Gallery with 9 pieces of colorful curtains holds by wood stick and hanging down from the ceiling. The carpet was a gift from Chinese Information and Culture Center-Taipei Gallery. This carpet adds more value to the Gallery and provides the most comfortable feeling for the audience who visits the Gallery. It has provided the flexibility to the performers who gives the acrobatically movement and Opera wu kung, such as Monkey King's jumps and turns. NYJPW Arts & Cultural Gallery is opened up for public and free admission. Donation to the Gallery is tax deductible. The phone number is (201) 262-4338 and address is 194 John Street, Oradell, New Jersey, 07649. Anyone who interests to see the exhibition and participates the Chinese Opera rehearsal please contact John or Cheng-Hua. | |
