| When everyone is sighing for life could be so short, one should always treasure every moment of life and provide ones expertise with meaningful work to contribute to the society for good will. John & Penny Wang is the couple who inherits the traditional Chinese culture and loves Chinese arts and devotes themselves to the society since 1997 through NYJPW. They bought a very solid and anti building, which was original built by The Manhattan Bank in nineteen century, at College Point, Queens and renovated with 2 stories. The ground level is a store and rent to Curves for women's exercises. The new second floor is set up for NYJPW Arts Center. This is the first center that has developed by individual's effort to carry the goal for the promotion of Chinese Arts and Culture in New York City. John has set up the Arts Center with plenty of the spotlights. It is the best shutting for exhibition of photography or painting. The huge auditorium with 1800 square foot to be utilized. John has special made 16 exhibition boards (4x8 square foot for one piece) that can stand in any place and each board 4 to 6 photos (20x30 for one photo). When the spotlights all be turned on, the photos all show its integrity. This is professional exhibition hall. It is also John's dream. On the other hand, Penny has designed a stage for her beloving performance arts. The back stage has a dressing room filled with mirrors for make up. A small wash room for easy changes. A control room for audio and video and dvd recording, plus whole set of professional equipment of Karioak. The sign of NYJPW has hanging on the middle top of the stage and it symbols the spirit of organization. On the back stairs, a wood band is hanging on the top of ceiling roof band: "The Arts By John & Penny Wang"The auditorium fullfills with John & Penny's dream and design in details. It built with their loving heart and will present to the society for free public access whenever they have the planned public events. This Arts Center has been looking after by the New York artists and groups for more then 2 years. It took John & Penny to build this Center. John & Penny are planning for the grand opening program and possible in the end of this year. Afterward, a serious of programs to be followed such as: John's photography and new book exhibition, Penny's cooking with Chinese Dumpling and Eight Treasuries Sweet Rice, multi cultural and arts performances, etc. It is the auditorium meant for public and contribution of John and Penny's loving heart to the society.
