NYJPW Penny Wang was contacted by PBS Reading Raimbow Associate Producer,

to help to the communities to recruit the interested families who will hold the traditional ceremony for their baby's First Year Celebration. The ceremony could be held from multiple cultures and in different nationalities as follows:

PBS is looking for families that are either planning these ceremonies to take place in the next few months, or who would have contact to community groups, new moms groups, or cultural center for Chinese, Korean, Indian, Muslim, Native American, American, etc. The scope of the program needs to find as many different cultural traditions (5-6) to film as possible. Anyone who reads this message and could help to come up with more ideas for Babies is greatly welcome. Due to the tight deadline, please contact
Jennifer Hughes at (212) 532-6565 or cell (646) 734-7861
as soon as possible.
NYJPW is appreciated anyone who can help to make this program success and congratulates the families and babies who are volunteering on the Reading Rainbow show.
