Celebration of 5th Anniversary of NYJPW Chinese American Arts & Culture

NYJPW has celebrated its 5th anniversary with 5 famous Chinese Opera programs -
Lu Wen Long, Ultimate Sacrifice, Countess Marriage Dilemma, The Crossing and Farewell My Concubine. This presentation has invited some of the most outstanding Chinese Opera artists from Peking, Shangton, Shengyang, Shanghai, etc., to perform for the American public. Many college students are volunteering their efforts to participate in this production to observe spirit with Chinese traditional arts and culture. This presentation has held at Taipei Theater, New York City, on Sunday April 8, 2001 from 1 PM to 4 PM. All seats have taken for this extraordinary performance. Three of the NYJPW team members, Bai Ge, Li Xiao Dan and Zhang Guo Hui, have been invited to perform for 15 mintues at this years Oscar Academy Awards. NYJPW would like to congratulate them on their remarkable acheivement. It is a very great honor to be chosen to perform at such an event.
